Angel Investment Network has partnered up with Ortegra, a Web/Software incubation company, to provide incubation services for start-up businesses.

Who are Ortegra?

Ortegra was formed in mid 2008 with a simple goal... to stop ideas being wasted... by applying a range of skills and services. Ortegra enables the business to develop to the stage where it can be funded by an angel investor. We then work with the management and investors to move it to the next stage.

What are Ortegra Incubation Services (OIS)?

Most ideas fail because they remain just that: an idea.
Ortegra's mission is to enable entrepreneurs to put their ideas into practice by turning their ideas into substance.
Ortegra's vision is to help grow early stage ideas into profitable businesses.

How Does OIS Work?

	Entrepreneur presents an idea to Ortegra. The idea may be just a concept, or have some initial content.
	Ortegra and entrepreneur agree to a partnership model.
	Ortegra builds the idea into a Functional Working System: the Prototype.
	Ortegra builds Proof of Concept (POC) and helps the business develop.
	Ortegra incubates business and assists in finding "angel" investors.

What Ortegra Offers?

	Prototyping to establish POC (Proof of Concept)
	Building the System/Application
	Provide strategic and counselling/advice to management
	Introductions to angel investors*
	Other services include: Online Marketing Advice, Search Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Social Media Marketing (SMM), Social Bookmarking (SBM), Pay-Per-Click (PPC), Bookkeeping, and more *Ortegra will provide introduction to investors only if OIS established and/or helped build the system

What Does it cost?

If Ortegra believes in the entrepreneur and their idea, it will cover up to 65% of the cost of the project and agree to equity participation in the start-up enterprise.

Ortegra owns and operates offshore facilities in Russia, India and Egypt, staffed with professional programmers and Quality Assurance (QA) staff.

The cost (what we charge) is kept low by using dedicated staff offshore working together with professionals onshore.

By following a unique development methodology developed over many years, Ortegra creates detailed pre-built documentation including project definition, functional and technical specifications, design concepts, storyboard and project plans.
